Your role

They are looking for a permanent part-time Technician to join their Microbiology Team based at the Lynfield Laboratory. This opportunity will be in their Pathogens Laboratory. Successful applicants will be responsible for carrying out Microbiological analysis on routine samples and ensure their customer's products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Your key duties will involve:

  • Complete sample testing within the given turn-around-time (TAT)
  • Strictly adhere to all laboratory and regulatory quality assurance procedures
  • Ensure all relevant records are kept up to date at all times
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work area
  • Participate and contribute to working safely
  • Be actively involved in all the day to day improvement activities

This is a Permanent Part-time role working on a Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, (32 hours per week).
