7.40 AM

My work day starts with a 45-minute commute into work and in this time I like to listen to podcasts to set me up for the day and get in the right headspace for the day ahead. My favorite at the moment is Medical Mysteries!

8.25 AM

The train goes right into Britomart outside work which is super handy! I then have some time to grab a coffee before heading up to the office. As the days warm up, I usually get an iced americano from Amano which is my go-to coffee shop.

8.30 AM

Work officially starts. I start my morning by checking emails and my meeting schedule for the day, as well as checking if there are any urgent emails to attend too.

10.00 AM

After a productive hour of answering queries and setting up cases, I have a team meeting to discuss workload, share insights, and talk about interesting cases we dealt with

12.00 PM

Lunch time. My go-to place is Sumthin Dumplin that’s about 10 mins away from work, these dumplings are a must try! (Fun fact: I won an Instagram competition to have a year free of Sumthin Dumplin).

1.30 PM

After answering more emails and setting up misconducts, I have a quick catchup with my senior adviser to discuss my growth and development and see what support I need. Nice view for a meeting room!

2.30 PM

Almost the end of the day. I like to de-stress by going for a quick walk around the Britomart area which is beautiful on a sunny day.  

6.30 PM

Another day done! Before going I check my calendar for what’s happening the next day to help with my planning on the train in the morning. Here’s a pic of the team hard at work
