The Fonterra Graduate Program is the base of Fonterraโs talent pipeline and aims to develop future business leaders. The objective of the program is to provide an intensive, continuous program that equips graduates with the skills, experience and knowledge needed for an accelerated start to their careers. Across the 18-month program graduates will develop a mix of technical, operational and leadership skills through working on real challenges and meaningful projects.
We are offering three roles across Commercial, Supply Chain and Automation Engineering. No matter what stream you choose you will rotate through different teams to fully gain an understanding of the Fonterra Australia and global business, allowing you to broaden your experience and explore your passion. Working under your rotation supervisors, you will learn rotation specific core competencies and develop good relations with your team and other teams across multiple business areas.

Other essential requirements
- Must be an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen or Permanent Resident
- Can demonstrate leadership through extracurricular activities, interests, and life experiences
- For the Automation Engineering stream a minimum probationary driver licence with a commitment to secure your full prior to the programme start date.

Learning, lectures and research project
Felt like I was needed within the team. Very BAU role which would otherwise require a full time equivalent. Lots of exposure to how manufacturing and quality etc work. Also lots of interaction with external vendors.
One of the core purposes of the graduate program is to gain an excellent technical understanding of the business while working to complete a masters degree. We must ensure that we are continuously learning and working towards completing the degree.

The culture varies so much between teams, which means that work and support can be variable.
