'he aha te mea nui o te ao? Māku e kī atu, he tangata, he tangata, he tangata'

(what is the most important thing in this world? It is people, it is people, it is people.)

We celebrate and embrace diversity across our business, and are committed to equal employment opportunities – for our people, our communities and the countries that we work in.

We believe in the value that diversity brings to our team, and people who share our REAL values (Respect, Energy & Effort, Attitude, Leadership) are encouraged to apply.

We currently have multiple vacancies. If you're looking to work with a crew that feels like whanau, and where no two days are the same, then apply to join our New Zealand family owned business, Fulton Hogan.

Pros and cons of working at Fulton Hogan NZ

Pros

  • Amazing company culture ( respect each other, kindness, safety first)

  • The passion and attitudes that everyone has for what they do create a team environment in which you feel like your work is meaningful and productive. The work we do is able to be seen visibly in the community, adding to this.

  • Fulton Hogan I feel a large sense of pride being able to say I'm part of the organisation as Fulton Hogan does amazing things for the communities it is a part of.

  • Big company with lots going on so there are lots of opportunities to learn and grow and try different things. Good pride in the work we do.

  • Being able to move around the business and having a lot of opportunities to try different things as a graduate. Graduate summits to meet others and share experiences with people in a similar boat. Having the opportunities at these events to talk to people in higher positions and gain a wider perspective

Cons

    • Long working hours/weekend work

    • I have quite a long commute to work

    • Some stigma around working more hours each week than stated on contract. People ask questions once you leave before 5 p.m.

    • Not working in the city and in sometimes not-close locations.

    • Long hours
