The culture here is great and there is little to no expectation to stay late/work overtime. There seems to be no sense of hierarchy with SLT very visible and easy to talk to. Policy has a great social atmosphere, with opportunities to do social sport and socialise outside of work hours together

The company culture from my experience is good where everyone is both work driven with a sense of banter. This makes it easier to ask questions or for help when dealing with unfamiliar things. In terms of structure and hierarchy I get the feeling that everyone is treated equally which results in better cooperation and teamwork. For afterhours there hasn't been much apart from the company gatherings.

Doesn't feel hierarchical between different levels of leadership/policy advisors. A lot of socialisation. Everyone is friendly. No expectation to stay after hours

The structure of the policy department is fairly flat, which gives you plenty of opportunities to network and collaborate with even the highest members of staff. It is very social, however, there is a great deal of respect for people's personal boundaries. This creates a very inviting and considerate work environment.

Our company culture is super relaxed. Senior management will commonly chat with new staff, so there is not much of a 'hierarchy' here. The office is always active and there are lots of people to talk with. We have an active social football and netball team and often go out for team lunches or after work drinks.

Independent work style as everybody has their own tasks assigned but there is an opportunity to work with experienced colleges when you need advice. Depart is independent from other ask work is very different but support for systems is always provide. Opportunities to socialise outside of office with work drinks and function are provided.

There is a team structure, but we sit in an open plan space. The policy leads and senior leaders are very accessible and friendly. This is a strong emphasis on teamwork, across teams and departments. There are catchups to ensure everyone is heard across levels of advisors.
I have made several good friends in this job. Part of this is the rest of the graduate cohort, but also graduates from previous cohort and other people in my team. There is regular after work events, both planned and informal.

It is a very flat structure and even the executive managers are highly approachable. At a team level, everyone is very open about their communication with each other, which makes it easy to work together.

The work place is a very social environment. Everyone is incredibly welcoming and friendly, and most importantly, everyone, including leaders are very accessible. Everyone will give you time and help if you need it. Office hours are flexible, and Working from Home is allowed, meaning you have the flexibility needed to easily go to things like appointments etc.

People are very friendly and welcoming.

Very open and honest teams, culture is open and helpful to upskill and questions. Young employees are respected and helped to improve and learn, inclusion in different pieces of work. Drinks after work is also a nice bonus in the sense of socialising with the team outside a work setting.

The culture is a mix one, specially is a place where all generations existed, from the younger ones to the seniors, I guess the most common culture to interact with people is the corporate culture
Intern, Wellington - 14 Feb 2023
Sometimes people worked from home but when people were in office, they would take breaks to do quizzes and would even have coffee or breakfast with each other. I thought it was so amazing how everyone talked with eachother.

The culture is very welcoming and friendly. I felt comfortable on my first day and people are not entirely just work focussed. It's nice to have a balanced and diverse team that is happy to be social and incorporate social things into the work place, e.g. the gym. There is not an obvious hierarchy which is comforting and makes my position as an intern feel appreciated. The teams are friendly but also aren't exclusive so happy to all sit randomly in the office.
