I wouldn't say there are perks as described above, in that IR forms part of the public service. However, there is generous leave policies and there is often cake in the office.

I guess the main perk is flexibility, which broadly includes when and where you work (so long as it is not extended remote working), what you do (there is often work opportunities across teams), and when/how you take leave.

Also, people are very generous and there is often a lot of food brought to work for everyone to enjoy.
