The Team  

The Intergen Customer Engagement and Power Platform team is a dynamic and energetic team that is passionate about solving real customer problems which can range from small record-keeping functions to major business applications that power the entire organisation. 

We work with our customers to provide them with digital solutions built on the Dynamics 365 platform that in simpler terms ‘helps make their lives easier but most importantly helps them drive their own customer engagement with their customers.  

Our passionate team of Consultants, Architects and Developers are experienced and certified in implementing and delivering end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform solutions. We as a team provide great training and mentorship internally to all staff to help grow our team and expand our capability.

The Role 

If you have a passion for designing, developing, securing, and would like to learn more about Microsoft Power Platform solutions, this role could be for you. You will get to create solution components, including application enhancements, custom user experience, system integrations, data conversions, custom process automation, and custom visualizations. You will get to work alongside Functional Consultants, Solution Architects and other awesome IT team members. If you aren’t sure what Power Platforms check out the Microsoft videos online. 

What we look for 

We’re after digitally savvy grads: high achievers with a completed degree who are passionate about a career in technology. You just have to be committed to learning the ropes! 

You might have an interest in or had exposure to:   

  • Creating technical designs and Power Apps.
  • Configuring Dataverse, Power Apps and business process automation.
  • Extending the platform and user experience.
  • Development languages such as JavaScript, JSON, TypeScript, C#, HTML, .NET, Azure, Microsoft 365, RESTful web services, ASP.NET, and Power BI (don’t worry if you don’t know what some of these are plenty of time to learn!)

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be able to deal with ambiguity.
  • Have a passion for technology.
  • Understand and actively assume accountability and responsibility for your own role and step in for others as required. You show initiative and take firm and decisive action when required.

I work part-time contracted to another agency where I support with their BAU tasks. Otherwise I support on small-medium sized projects, learning as I go.

Depends on the day but usually starts with a stand-up with the team from my project (who are all in Auckland) where we chat about what we worked on the day before and what our plan is for the day. Then I continue on development tasks for the rest of the day unless there are any more meetings.

  • the people and flexibility to work remotely.

  • The team at Intergern are incredibly supportive have deep knowledge of their respective disciplines which is incredibly beneficial for Graduates new to the field.

  • Great culture, people are very willing to help and there are a lot of clever people to learn from.

  • The culture is very supportive, open and friendly. I was worried that the culture they marketed was just a corporate facade but was happy to find out it wasn't!

Cons

    • Due to the industry, the wavering of work can be frustrating. It's difficult to fill in your time when there is nothing for you to do. The only solution ever provided is MS exams
