As an Internal Audit Graduate at RSM, you will gain valuable experience supporting the delivery of financial and operational projects, engaging with clients, and working directly on client sites. You will also develop your skills in preparing reports and presentations, while gaining exposure to a wide range of sectors and industries. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop a foundational ability to apply essential audit skills within the RSM audit process, gradually gaining proficiency in accurately understanding and documenting accounting and internal control systems 
• Providing advice on how to implement an effective and secured internal control environment 
• Advising on how to manage core operational risks, especially those related to the reliability of business operations 
• Understands and executes tests of internal controls and substantive audit procedures as instructed, ensuring compliance with RSM policies and procedures 
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date personal documentation, including training records, timesheets, and expense reports 

About You: 

• You are currently studying towards or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance and Environmental or hold a relevant tertiary degree and/or qualification 
• Expect graduates to pursue further qualifications, such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or certification with the Institute of Internal Auditors 
• Demonstrates strong communication skills, effectively conveying ideas and information. 
• Exhibits strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks 
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team environment 
• Demonstrates motivation, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to take responsibility and continuously learn 
• Enthusiastic about understanding how professional services operate and eager to learn about business development 
• You are a self-starter and a team player, and you can bring your unique skills and ideas to the table 
• You possess a curiosity and desire to understand the client’s business and industry
