Why choose Safe
Safe Network is the Government’s preferred provider of therapeutic services for children, adolescents, and adults with concerning, problematic and harmful sexual behaviour across the upper North Island.
We operate the largest of three community-based specialised clinical assessment and intervention services in New Zealand. Safe Network has been successfully providing therapeutic services to the upper North Island for over 25 years.
Our goal is to work together to address the factors that led to the problematic behaviour and the impact on others, creating positive outcomes that lead to a safer environment for the person in our service, their family, whanau, and the wider community.
Our focus is on delivering the best evidence-based clinical services that build confidence, create hope and develop trust, resulting in better-balanced, healthy lives for all.
This is a challenging, unique, and world-leading area of work that you could be part of.
Recruitment Process
Our recruitment process is focused on finding the right people with the right attitude for our service and for our clients. Our interview process is a conversation – a chance for us to learn a bit more about you, and for you to learn a bit more about us.
The next step is a case study for us to get a better understanding of your case conceptualisation and formulation skills.
We are looking for graduates who are motivated to put their theoretical knowledge into practice, extend their clinical skills, and support our clients to make positive changes in their lives.
Remuneration and Career Potential
Safe Network offers a competitive graduate remuneration package, including employer-funded health, critical illness and income protection insurance.
Graduates are supported through a robust professional development and supervision framework, focusing on building their professional knowledge and expertise in the field of harmful sexual behaviour.
We have Safe Network offices across the upper North Island and partner agencies covering all of New Zealand, providing the opportunity to be based almost anywhere!
