I have just started my role as a Graduate Auditor this year and I have a long way to go. I am still in the learning process. Of course, there are promotion opportunities (will have to face many ups & downs) but this is life so aligning with dedication, commitment and work ethics would move you to further ranks at the company.

I have not been told the specifics on how to move up in the company yet, however I have had it told to me that I will most likely be moving to an accountant role next year as I am meeting all expectations and even exceeding. However, with each level of progress the rewards for the time and work you put in are not equal. I have found out that people who are two years above me and managing multiple clients and known as one of the hard workers, is barely earning more than I am at my graduate level.

Office dependent a little bit. There are definitely opportunities but you really have to put yourself out there and be willing to drive this yourself. If you want to learn or have an opportunity to work or do something, speak up.

Doesn't appear to be hugely pushed
Graduate, Alexandra - 24 Feb 2020
There is a very direct path from graduate to senior, which is based on time and qualification (CA). From there it is just about being in the correct location with correct challenges to progress beyond senior

Easy to move up depending on what office you're working in. To move up you need to work hard and stand out from your peers

Some of what it is to get promoted is qualification and time frame but there are also opportunities for internal promotion. The managers communicate what is required to make the push for a promotion

in my department it is a climbing ladder job so it can get quite boring and grindy.
