Diversity at Findex New Zealand

Our office is very woman based so I think that's a good reflection, however it is very male dominated in senior positions.

In terms of gender diversity, there is a good mix however there is no specific focus on diversity within the office, though I heard mention of a focus on it at an HR level in the graduate training videos. There are ethnic minorities within the company however they are the minority. LGBTQIA+, I suspect there is a diversity however it is not talked about nor pushed within the firm.

Everyone gets treated with dignity and respect. They seem to be bringing in new grads each year.

Diversity is frequently discussed in meetings by managers/ partners in business.

Would be good to do some cultural competency around The reo M?ori. For Example running a the___14 reo M?ori workshop during the wiki o the___14 reo M?ori. (M?ori language week).

Unsure. I'm LGBT. We hire more women than men but very open to sexuality etc

I haven't really seen anything to indicate anything negative. Have coworkers part of the LGBT community and they are well respected and liked around the office. My office is mainly female based, and most of the managers are female. At partner level there is a female partner but there may be more in the future. Have seen several promotions (female) since I've started and a few able to take maternity leave with no issues (that I've seen).

Wouldn't have a problem with it. More males in higher roles but a lot of females coming up in managing roles etc

I've not seen/heard of any issues which would go against this. The firms tends to have an unbiased opinion/outlook when it comes to this.

I really am unsure. We have the Findex Community Fund which has funded 1.1 million dollars to create equal access of opportunity to education, health and entrepreneurship since 2018 across NZ and Australia
